Zhanna is based in the firm’s Baltimore office. With an affinity for the strategy and advocacy inherent in litigation and a well-developed knowledge of the medical and legal issues at the heart of medical malpractice cases, Zhanna defends health care providers and institutions in complex professional liability matters.
Zhanna’s representation is defined by her attention to detail and ability to understand the science and jargon of medicine and translate it into coherent and understandable narratives. She has experience defending medical malpractice claims and she has worked extensively with long-term care and skilled nursing facilities, not only defending them in litigation but also preparing and conducting educational programs for facility leadership and patient care providers. Zhanna also has experience in general liability, professional liability, and employment discrimination matters, including in healthcare settings.
“We are excited to have Zhanna join the Tydings team,” said Diane D'Aiutolo, the firm’s managing partner. "We know that our clients will be well-served by the addition of Zhanna to our medical malpractice group."
Zhanna earned her law degree cum laude, from the University of Baltimore Law School (2018) and her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (2015).
