Tydings is the Maryland member of MERITAS, Law Firms Worldwide, a global alliance of more than 7,700 lawyers serving in nearly 200 independent, local law firms across more than 97 countries.
Through Meritas, clients seeking legal services can easily connect with pre-qualified legal experience worldwide. Tydings, like all Meritas firms, must meet rigorous quality standards and adhere to a stringent code of ethics to retain membership. Meritas firms are also required to participate in ongoing recertification and client satisfaction evaluations.
Clients who engage a Meritas firm can be confident that they will receive high quality legal work from firms that are deeply rooted in their local communities.
Our attorneys have held leadership roles within Meritas during the last 20 years. Lee Lundy was a member of the Board of Directors from 2001-2007, serving as the organization's chair from 2005-2007. Melissa Jones served on the organization's Board of Directors and Executive Committee from 2009-2013, was the co-chair of its Labor & Employment and Mediation Sections from 2006-2015, and served on the Labor & Employment Section steering committee. Diane D'Aiutolo also served a three-year term on the Board of Directors.
