The Daily Record Honors Jaime W. Luse With Its 2015 VIP Award

Tydings is pleased to announce that The Daily Record has named Jaime Luse to its 2015 VIP List – Very Important Professionals Successful by 40.

Jaime is a partner in the firm’s litigation department and defends businesses of all sizes in commercial and employment litigation.  She has experience in the state and federal courts of Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia. 

She is an active member of the DRI-The Voice of the Defense Bar and was appointed to its Law Institute, which is responsible for seminars and alternative forms of CLE programming.  She previously served as program chair of the 2014 Employment & Labor Law Seminar, chair of the ADA/FMLA Subcommittee, and program vice-chair for the 2013 Employment and Labor Law Seminar.  She is also co-chair of the Maryland Defense Counsel's Employment Law Subcommittee.

In addition to mentoring young lawyers through the firm’s associate mentoring program, Jaime regularly mentors first-year law students through the University of Baltimore School of Law.  She is also an active member of the McDaniel College Alumni Council and formerly served on the Advisory Council of the college's Women’s Leadership Network, which is dedicated to advancing women through programs and service opportunities.  She also provides pro bono legal services through Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service.

Jaime is also a member of the board of directors of The Columbia Orchestra, and a 2015 graduate of Leadership Howard County's Leadership Premier program, who remains an active member of the organization.
